Greetings everyone,

Although I am not a fan of government holidays that perpetuate the oppressive system that is America, I will say that it was good to spend this July 4th with family, friends, good music, good food, good ________________(you fill in what awesomeness you partook of). It made me think of the reasons that people celebrate these USFG-Backed holidays, and for the most part, I realized that most Americans celebrate July 4th simply because they are NOT FREE. Yup, I said it, America consistently has done a wonderful job of convincing its citizens that they should celebrate mediocrity on a variety of different levels, the mediocre state of freedom in America and the 4th of July displays of independence are just one example of this notion. For instance, if we were truly free wouldn’t there be July 4th decorations in other colors besides the infamous red, white and blue, and what better way to display the unity of nation besides blowing stuff up…anyhow, no matter what your reasons are be sure that you do it beyond mediocre. Love, live, laugh, dance, eat and play hard, its the only way you will ever really feel free. One Luv
